Return & Warranty Policy:

Faulty/Damaged items

Kudos Motorsports follows the requirement for refunds and exchanges as outlined by the Office of Fair Trading (Queensland). If an item received is found not to be as described or faulty due to manufacturing defects then one of the following may be applicable

  • Exchange
  • Warranty claim, or
  • Refund

If an item is to be repaired / replaced under a warranty claim "the business" (Kudos Motorsports) will deal with the manufacturer on the consumer's behalf. If the customers ask for a refund, they should:

  • Provide details of the fault;
  • Provide proof of purchase; 
  • Provide vehicle odometer reading, and date of install (if applicable);
  • Provide vehicle odometer reading, and date of removal (if applicable);
  • Provide receipt/proof item was installed by a qualified automotive engineer/mechanic (if applicable);
  • Provide any additional information that may be useful;
  • Stop using the faulty goods until they can be returned; and
  • Look after the goods until they are returned.

Once the above has been fulfilled and the goods returned to "the business" they will be forwarded to the appropriate trading partners for testing. If the defect is confirmed the appropriate course of action, repair, exchange or refund, will occur. If the goods are found to be in working condition they will be returned at your expense.

If your customers have bought on credit, they are not entitled to a cash refund. If the item has not been paid for in full, the customer can ask for a refund of any deposit or payments they have made and a cancellation of the outstanding balance. They can also ask for a credit to the value of any items they traded-in.

To initiate a return/warranty claim the following steps must be taken:

  • Contact Us via the form located within the Contact Us page of the website, outlining the following:
    • Invoice Number
    • Description of item in question
    • Detailed description of fault
    • Odometer reading & date when installed
    • Odometer reading & date when removed
    • Contact phone number
  • Desired course of action (warranty claim, exchange or return/refund)

Returns/Exchange

No return or exchange will be accepted on special order items.

For incorrect items purcahsed or change of mind we are willing to exchange with a credit for full item only value towards other products or refund* within 7 days of delivery date and subjust to the following conditions:

  • Return request to be made via the contact us page and contain the following details
    • Name on the order
    • Order Number/Invoice Number
    • Reason of return
    • Confirming the below is true
  • Return must be approved by the Kudos Motorsports team
  • Products are as supplied, unmarked and in condition to be sold as new, and
  • Returned in original retail packaging
  • All associated postage and handling cost are payable by the customer

Once the return is approved you will reiceved an RMA (Return Material Authorisation) number and further instructions. No goods will be accepted for return without an approved RMA.

*All refunds will be processed via the same method as the original payment and will have any assosiated transaction fees decuted from refunded amount and may be subject to a 25% re-stocking fee.

Shipping Policy:

Please note that all shipping dates quoted are estimates only and should be taken as such.

We offer many delivery options including Australia Post, DHL, TNT, Couriers Please, Aramex, Toll Ipec, Toll Priority & Startrack; and these may be interchanged at our discretion to best suit the individual orders. Please be aware that only the Australia Post option is available for delivery to PO Boxes, if an Aust Post option is not available at the time of checkout it will most likely mean that the package is too large/heavy and an alternative delivery address will be required. The name and signature of the receiver may be required therefore we suggest that deliveries are made to business address. For security reasons, shipping address cannot be changed once item(s) has been shipped. Please also note that under some special circumstances, courier deliveries may be replaced by Australia Post.

Please note that our couriers do not make any phone call before delivery or if no one is at the shipping address. Couriers cannot predict their delivery schedule so you need to specify a shipping address that someone will always be around during office hours for 1-3 business days after placing your order.

Like most retailers that provide delivery services, Kudos Motorsports can only guarantee the delivery of items to the shipping address as specified by our customers. It is the responsibility of the customers to evaluate and decide if their shipping address is suitable for purchase via courier delivery. Kudos Motorsports will not be held responsible for any item reported missing once the item(s) has been successfully delivered to the specified shipping address.

An order will only be dispatched only once payment has been confirmed; we do not take a copy of the transfer remittance as proof of payment. For Direct Deposit/Bank transfer payments made either in a National Australia Bank (NAB) branch or from another NAB account this will usually be instantaneous, from other banks/financial institution this will usually take one business day. Payments made via PayPal, other then eCheque, are received instantaneously.

International buyers - please note: If payable, import duties, taxes, and charges aren’t included in the item price or postage costs. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
