Nissan used two OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for distributors and components for the transversely mounted SR20DE(T) engine:

• Hitachi
• Mitsubishi

General guidelines based on manufacturing year:

• U13 Vehicles manufactured until 07/1993 typically use Hitachi parts
• U13 Vehicles manufactured from 08/1993 generally use Mitsubishi parts
• All RNN14 use Hitachi parts
